A new hilarious episode of "Surfcast Passion" with the Trabucco Team. The duo is always the same, Roberto Accardi and Emiliano Tenerelli being ready to give 28 minutes of fun and technical details.
Scenario is a wonderful Sardinian coast at the first light of dawn. This time the fishing session takes place in Sa Mesa Longa, a sheltered beach set among the rocks and characterized by the presence of a rocks barrier on which the waves break, leaving only the foam to come ashore. A very busy beach especially when there is a strong mistral wind. Objective: catching bream and oblada in the daytime.
It's still dark when team arrives on the beach and starts preparing the equipment and triggering Koreans and Americans. The first launches into the water are carried out, waiting for the sun to start to be seen between the clouds.
While Emiliano brings to the beach the first beautiful bream of the day, Roberto explains better the particularity of the place they have chosen, a part of the beach is characterized by the presence of a rocky barrier a few meters from the shore, feature that allows fishing in an area that due to its almost total absence of large waves, Roberto calls "pool". A few meters further on, the situation changes radically, the rocky front disappears and leaves ample space for the waves, which directly fall to the shore.
This obviously pushed the two to foresee a double type of fishing, in the first zone were placed two lighter rods on pickets, typical of beach ledgering fishing, while the most agitated waters of the second zone will be faced by heavier rods, expressly think for surfcasting.
The catches do not wait, oblade and a double catch bite to the lines of the new Scarlet X-Nitro Surf and Cassiopea XTR.
The sun rises and the light makes the fantastic water that bathes the Sardinian coasts even more crystalline. During a moment of calm Roberto presents the superb Trabucco equipment which they are using for the session. First of all the new Lancer XTR reel whose main feature is to be sold with two match spools, one knurled, perfect for the nylon spooling, and the other, the Black PE, smooth and expressly designed for use braided like the Neo X8 Nage pro surf.
XPS Fluorocarbon Saltwater, 6 mm white pop-up stick, Korean on the 8th Hisashi hook and a look also for Emiliano Tenerelli introducing the new Impera B-Surf, a rod made of CX2 carbon with a low content of resins with double bridge rings, which enhances the incredible relationship between the stiffness of the handle and the amazing sensitivity of the tip.
The prey is released, the wind increases, the sea is shaken, the threatening clouds close the sky and the first drops of rain begin to wet the paradisiacal beach that has been the background to this beautiful surfcasting fishing session.
Many other tips and secrets for the next meetings with the Trabucco Team.
