Grosotto Lake, in the province of Sondrio, hosts a new exciting fishing session and this time the protagonist is the expert of the Rapture brand, who delights us with a day dedicated entirely to the trout area technique.
This technique has its origins in Japan and in recent years has been transplanted to the western continent, Europe and especially Italy, obtaining more than positive feedback in the world of competition or among fans of sport fishing.
Today, as our protagonist explains, the session takes place within the no kill zone of this magnificent lake and the most coveted prey is not only rainbow trout, but also char and brown trout. To aspire to all these beautiful animals, however, the expert must resort to his best "weapons", or spoons of the Rapture brand, available in different colors and sizes that immediately do not disappoint.
The first rainbow trout of the day is captured thanks to the Sisma spoon, and promptly released into the clear waters of the lake. The winning colour, after several attempts with light colours, seems to be the red one to attracts trout, which follow one another one after the other, unhooking themselves in the landing net due to the lack of hooks with barb.
Our protagonist does not hesitate to explain how easy it is to dedicate to this technique, as it is not necessary to have too many accessories and tools having to move in search of trout from one side of the lake to another, but at the same time explains how important the equipment and especially what is the importance of light and ultra light fishing rods dedicated specifically to the trout area.
There are three available for this day: the Drone, the Imprint and the XLake. The models chosen are all above 6' so you can make even longer throws and use heavier spoons if necessary.
