Daiwa BG MQ Monocoque Body is the new reel with metal monoblock body intended for heavy spinning that Daiwa introduces to the market in the second half of 2020. This is the evolution of the BG line that has been very successful throughout the bike, but with many technical improvements that make it even more solid and reliable.
It introduces the brand new all-metal monocoque body (aluminium alloy with very high resistance and totally anti-corrosion), bringing a weight reduction.
It uses Daiwa's powerful and smooth ATD Automatic Tournament Drag clutch, which allows for particularly accurate settings and ensures extremely high traction power, much loved in the Daiwa LT series.
In the casing generates a strong traction thanks to the new system of oversized gears made with cold cutting known as Digigear.
The crank of this reel is made to avoid any kind of slack due to wear and screws to the main gear with millimeter precision.
The spool has been shaped as on the new Saltiga improving the smoothness of the line.
This reel is therefore intended for heavy techniques in both sea and fresh water. We recommend it for techniques such as shore jigging, vertical and popping or simply in all those techniques where you need brute force. It also finds its place in fresh water with the search for catfish and pike.
