Rhino Sandeel Holder

The Rhino Sandaal Baitholder allows you to use either rubber sandeels (included) or suitable natural baits. When using real sandeels, the hook rig is fed from behind through the gills, through the mouth and secured in the eye in the head while the hook is inserted into the flank. The bait is secured in the head via a toothpick. The “ready to fish” version delivered comes mounted with a lifelike sandeel tail. The tail’s action strongly resembles that of a live sandeel. Depending on the current, it not only kicks but also breaks out to the side occasionally and even rolls completely on its longitudinal axis. This action seems to be highly attractive to predators and tempted countless fish during testing. Some attacks were so hard that only the head was sticking out of the fish's mouth. Ideal for use at speeds between 1.5 and 2.5 knots.
