Empty the 2 kg bag of groundbait into a round mixing bucket, pour 2 pints of water onto the groundbait and mix well, then leave it to rest for 30 minutes, during that time the water will be absorbed by the groundbait.
For best results, to remove any lumps and create a uniform consistency, pass the paste through a sieve, and is ready for use.
When you are fishing, with the sun and the wind you can dry the groundbait a little, to avoid this you can cover the groundbait with a damp towel or, if it dries, add a little more water and mix again.
