Specific feeders for the use of pasturage, micro pellets or earth, open at both ends as their name suggests.
Normally their body, made of plastic material, is cylindrical, with or without holes in the walls.
These holes affect the hydration of the pasture inside, and consequently the entry of water facilitates the escape of flours and baits.
The more holes there are, the faster the pasture will melt, the fewer holes there are and the less quickly the release will occur.
These open end feeders are connected to the main line by a plastic snoods, a powergum braid or a rubber "o-ring", always equipped with a swivel. In the lower part of the shepherd is placed a lead ballast firmly fixed to the plastic structure.
The ballast allows the feeder to adhere perfectly to the bottom and, in the event of a current, keeps it firmly anchored.
Excellent for use with pasture, essential in case of use of fouillis or ver de vase in combination with the earth (Damp Leam, River Leam), as they allow you to bring these light baits on the bottom without dispersing them in the descent.
