Rising sea fishing is the key word of this new adventure as the first episode of 2019's Passion Surfcasting, a special broadcast entirely dedicated to this fishing technique conducted, as always, by experts of the Trabucco brand and national champions.
Another key word, however, is news. Our protagonists, in fact, put into fishing and show us in detail what are the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the new Trabucco fishing rods. In some cases they are "sisters" of others who are now known to connoisseurs of the brand, but with very important improvements.
But let's proceed step by step and let's talk first of all about the location for this fishing trip. Today's session takes place in two different spots with different sea conditions. The first beautiful beach, that of S'Arena Scoada, close to a natural park gives them the opportunity to fish in a mixed environment, with the presence of rocks, before moving, in the evening, to another beach where the situation will be very different.
The first bite gives our protagonists a beautiful garfish, which opens this new edition of Passion Surfcasting. The experts have just enough time to reorganize their fishing settings that another bite on the American worms makes a small gilthead sea bream arrive on the beach to be released shortly after.
Bites follows one another; sand steenbras and small gilthead sea breams are not lacking and animate the day as the sea conditions begin to change and the wind rises slightly, giving our protagonists a foretaste of the moment when they can try fishing with rising sea, the real objective of today’s trip.
As announced, the presentation of the rods and fishing settings is an integral part of this day. Our experts explain how these rods are added to the existing "stars" of the Trabucco brand.
The Cassiopea, in the two and three pieces version, is the real new entry of the year. Available in 4.20 and 4.50 meters models and in three different casting weights, it uses the precious technologies that have always distinguished this brand. One of them is the Twist Free system, thanks to which the rod, during loading, does not undergo twisting upstream of the reel but is able to remain perfectly straight, acting with the precision of a knife. Another important feature is the presence of a ring that prevents the reel plate from collapsing and consequently the reel becoming unstable.
As for other rods, also for the Supernova we can use two different versions. The classic one and the Beach, the lighter one. Both, however, are ideal for the use of braided wires. The tip, moreover, is equipped with an extra ring and a reflector that wraps around it and that makes it very easy even the night fishing sessions, thanks to the improved visibility.
Mullet slice, American worms, razor clam and crab are just some of the baits used by our experts. These baits are very easy to trigger and give you some of the most beautiful catches of the day.
The evening arrives faster than expected and our protagonists move to another beach, inaugurated immediately by a beautiful gilthead sea bream that ate on two baits, crab and razor clam and that is immediately released to continue fishing.
Other catches follow one another and finally a beautiful sea bass and another gilthead sea bream eat on the triggers of the razor clam, particularly catchy in these Sardinian beaches and conclude a fishing session full of excitement, new products to be tested and that gave our experts the opportunity to try their hand at catching different prey.
