A fruitful day of surfcasting awaits the Trabucco team in today's fishing session. A surprising catch full of important presences, such as that of the queens of our seas: gilthead seabream, sea bass and shi drum.
The sea conditions seem ideal as they are close to a tide peak with turbid waters and without algae, but above all because of the presence of a landslide that is lowering. Everything suggests that today's fishing day could be a memorable one.
For these reasons the team decided to test the new Huracan Sky Surf, a brightly coloured rod with a CX2 carbon structure. The extreme throwing ability and the great sensitivity of this rod will be put to the test by the protagonist of the video, who has combined this tool with a Lancer 6500 to get more results from the catch.
The first bite is not to be expected and with great patience and waiting for the right wave the expert Trabucco manages to bring to the shore the first prey. A beautiful gilthead seabream that inaugurates the day bringing great enthusiasm and announcing the presence of a good activity.
In a moment of pause the expert explains the realization of the rig thanks to a clip hooked directly to the main line, a snood of 60 centimeters because thanks to this length there will be no tangles, wire of 0.24 in diameter and hook size 8/0 F31. The beam presented is ideal for the day's fishing, with a fishing distance of about 40 meters.
Another important aspect, as explained by the expert, concerns the choice of the sector in which to fish. In surfcasting, in fact, the right spot undoubtedly requires research and evaluation of certain aspects. The seabed and its conformation, the breakwater, any channels. Understanding whether the seabed is fertile is undoubtedly of primary importance. If you are dealing with a hard seabed it is not a fertile area on the contrary, a soft seabed will give very different results.
Fishing close to the breakwater proved to be a more than fair choice in view of the second meal, which in this case is a sea bass, followed very little later instead by a gilthead seabream.
The three prey so different from each other but at the same time coveted make the fishing session very fun and unexpected, especially when the protagonist manages to catch a beautiful shi drum, albeit small in size, which is unloaded with care and immediately released.
Today's catch seems the perfect moment to present the new Cassiopea, a rod in two versions therefore versatile and thin diameters with a great sensitivity of tip. The low content of resins in the realization of this product makes its action even more effective.
A change in vorticity and greater turbulence force the expert to change the rig in order to continue the fishing session.
Bibi, lugworm and American worm are once again three baits perfect for surfcasting fishing and in fact another catch is not long in coming. The second gilthead seabream of the day concludes today's session, full of many different catches.
