The ALION 8000 is an excellent compromise between our top of the range reels, like the Kromer and the Actarus, and the more economical, like the Contest and the Khetamon. Its 555g weight places it right in the middle of these four reels. It features a body and rotor in ultralight graphite alloy and is equipped with spools in ULTRALIGHT aluminium, one with shallow capacity for thin line and the other Regular for larger diameters. The PARALLEL WINDING SYSTEM for smooth spooling of the nylon together with the spool’s V-SHAPE SYSTEM allows for outstanding payout of the line for longer, more accurate casting. Not forgetting that this reel is also equipped with a significant major feature, the WORM SHAFT SYSTEM: an endless screw that ensures exceptional oscillation of the reel when spooling and helps the line to lie perfectly aligned on the spool.
