With the new Iron Claw Slim Jim II we have made a big step forward in equipment and design, but have remained at the same price level as the previous model. As before, the reel impresses with its silky smooth running, a really jerk-free brake and all the other features that can otherwise only be found on higher priced reels. Another new feature is the lubrication access to the gearbox on the opposite side of the crank. This can be easily opened with the help of a slotted screwdriver. So from time to time a little non-resinous oil can and should be filled in there to guarantee the good running of the reel for many fishing hours.
