A properly wetted groundbait allows fishing better and catching more fish. The riddle enables the groundbait mix to be soaked in a more homogeneous manner preventing the formation of lumps. Well sifted mixes become more compact improving the dissolving time . There are three types ofriddle: 6mm mesh riddles for coarse-textured bottom groundbaits to be used in running water, 3/4 mm. mesh riddles for fine-textured groundbaitsfor surface or mid-water fishing and 1/2 mm. specially designed to riddle blood worms and ver de vase.
