The Calcutta Conquest is the symbolic model among the baitcasting round profile reels of the European Shimano range.
At first glance, it looks identical to the previous generation of reels but important technological improvements have been made for this 'big fish/big bait' type catcher.
The braking system has been changed (just like the outer plate, there is no longer a keyboard), the wind level is now synchronised with the wire on the reel, the gear logic has become 6:2:1 and the tow now produces a ticking sound (like a spinning reel) when the wire exits the reel.
