A series that takes advantage of the Lancer Surf experience and enhances its image with a few steps forward in terms of aesthetics and functionality.
First of all, the Lancer XTR also responds to the demand for compact sized reels from the light surf and Beach Legering sectors, with a brand new 6500 that easily recovers an enormous amount of wire, since its gear ratio is higher than that of the larger size.
The slow vertical oscillation and the screw work together to create a maniacal arrangement of the line loops in the long cast spool; this has a positive influence both on the distance and precision of the casting and on the duration of the wire.
And it is right in the heart of the spool that there is an interesting technical solution: a small hole allows you to fix the first line loop without the need for the traditional knot, which would have too much space, considering the reduced depth of the spool itself.
The bow is assisted by a locking system that prevents accidental closures during the cast; its locking is manual.
The Smart Drag clutch surprises with the immediacy of its entry into operation: with a single turn of the clutch you switch from total tightening to complete opening, or vice versa.
The bearings are 6+1, all in Long Life stainless steel and shielded on both sides to prevent the passage of water and salt that could undermine the rotation It is possible to purchase one or more reels of aluminium separately, taking advantage of a new opportunity for customisation: you can choose between a spool identical to the main one or a black one with a smooth background, specific for the braided lines, truly charming to give an exclusive image to the reel.
