Zoga is a lead-head, with a particular shape designed to be antistranding and highly catching. For a proper use, the lead must be inserted inside the octopus head, leaving the tentacles free to move, in a way that they can open like an umbrella during descent and close again when up, making a natural movement very attractive.
To maximize the potential of hooking, it is essential that octopus hasn’t been frozen, but stored the refrigerator or on ice, this to avoid that the frozen tentacles get harden touching the water, impairing the realistic movement that is the basis fishing style.
Suggested for all predators, it is lethal for grouper and redfish.
